Event by Serenest - Custom Event Management & Click and Collect Platform
Serenest commissioned Terros to design an e-commerce web application integrating event management and click & collect. The goal was to improve user experience while simplifying management through a back-office with a modular permission system.

Project Context
Objectives
Event by Serenest, a platform dedicated to Serenest client companies, aimed to become the new version of the RoomService e-commerce site with new features. Their main objective was to improve the meal tray, beverage, and various services ordering experience while facilitating the management of multiple Sites by Administrators.
The collaboration objectives between Serenest and Terros were:
Improve customer experience: create a user-friendly and intuitive web application for Serenest clients.
Develop new features: improve Serenest's operational efficiency, particularly through the application's back-office, allowing all types of users to benefit from different permissions.
Performance optimization: fast and efficient operation by minimizing loading times, optimizing server queries, and using efficient coding practices.
Secure payment integration: secure payment system compliant with security standards (PCI DSS).
Scalability: ability to integrate new sites and client companies over time without compromising web application performance.
Solution
Project
In addition to offering fluid and intuitive navigation to users, Terros implemented a robust back-office on the Event by Serenest e-commerce site, equipped with modular permissions. This enables efficient user management, optimizing administrators' operational time. Moreover, it integrates in-depth statistical analysis, providing managers with precise performance evaluation of sites and/or companies.
The back-office is also equipped with an activity log to track performed actions, and offers complete order and cart management, including automatic follow-up features via email to maximize abandoned cart conversion.
We also implemented a data export system, allowing administrators and managers to export various back-office elements, including: revenue, products, orders, and customers. This subsequently enables financial analysis, sales reports, inventory management, marketing strategies implementation, and more.
Every day, new products and services are made available online on the platform to thousands of Serenest client users.
Results
Results and Feedback
Number of users: The platform currently has more than 60 sites, grouping more than 500 client companies and exceeding 2,500 users. Of course, it was designed to be scalable, allowing more clients to be accommodated over time.
Number of products and categories: On launch day, the platform offered more than 30 categories, bringing together a catalog of more than 300 products.
