Project Context

What were Hiptown's design objectives?

Hiptown values unused spaces to turn them into assets capable of generating revenue for property owners. As part of this activity, the company, created in 2019, quickly opened about twenty coworking, flexible office and operated sites in France.

The objectives in the collaboration between Hiptown and Terros were as follows:

  • Increased productivity and operational efficiency: The primary objective of this collaboration was to introduce technological tools that allowed Hiptown to optimize its internal operations, simplify workflows, and thus increase the productivity of its administrative team.

  • Reduction of operating costs: By developing a custom solution, Hiptown aimed to reduce operating costs by automating processes, avoiding repetitive manual tasks and improving the overall efficiency of its business model.

  • Improved customer management: The collaboration with Terros aimed to improve customer relationship management by providing more effective means to track customer information and needs, thus offering a smoother and more personalized customer experience.

  • Personalization and modularity: The objective was to create a flexible platform that allowed Hiptown to customize features according to its specific needs and add modules as it grew, thus ensuring an evolving and adaptable solution.

  • Mobility: The collaboration aimed to provide a mobile application that allowed Hiptown administrators and managers to manage their operations on the go, thus improving their mobility and ability to respond quickly to customer needs and operational challenges.

Solution

Project

A custom customer management platform combined with a mobile reservation application.

Terros implemented for Hiptown a platform allowing their clients and users to consult their information and reservations, as well as manage their teams.

On this same platform, Hiptown administrators and managers have access to a management Dashboard from which they can manage the information and services of their different Sites, as well as their Clients' information. They can generate contracts for the latter via Docusign and also track user requests, in addition to being able to create invoices associated with these requests. Using a modular permissions system giving access to management features, Hiptown administrators can assign their managers to one or more Sites, and the latter can appoint a Client Referent, in charge of information and users of their company.

In parallel, Terros also worked on the development of a mobile application allowing Hiptown users to book a room at their workplace, from their personal space.

At Terros, our commitment to our clients is total when we support them in launching a new platform. From the start of our collaboration, we set up a prototype in just two weeks, thus marking the starting point of our partnership. Our approach is based on four essential phases: design, development, deployment and evolution. We apply our expertise to prototype, develop and iterate, while ensuring a smooth transition for Hiptown teams, thanks to regular demonstration sessions.

Results and Feedback

  • Increased productivity through tracking and management of requests on a single interface, as well as generation of invoices and contracts by the platform: allows to significantly accelerate and simplify request processing

  • Personalization and securing of information shared to users thanks to a modular permissions system

  • Security and ease of payment thanks to Stripe integration, managing platform subscriptions and recurring payments
